Little Penguins' story

There used to be hundreds of Little Penguins near Manly — now there are only 70 breeding pairs of penguins at North Head — a threatened colony.

NPA is actively opposed to the proposed development of a 3-star hotel in the Sydney National Park — Quarantine Station — for many reasons including that it would bring increased visitor activity and boating in the harbour feeding grounds. Penguins need to feed closer to shore when feeding young or when building up their strength just before their moulting sets in.
