TAMWORTH PUBLIC MEETING TO OPPOSE LOGGING AND BURNING OF WESTERN WOODLANDS FOR CHARCOAL

Speakers include scientists, naturalists from the Tamworth NPA Branch and Noel Plumb NPA Executive Officer

TUESDAY 7 SEPTEMBER

MEDIA VISIT TO KELVIN STATE FOREST

The trip will include general views of the forest and examination of ironbark species targeted for charcoal production. Koalas may also be sighted.

Naturalists from the Tamworth Branch of NPA and Noel Plumb NPA Executive Officer will be present.

Kelvin State Forest is about 50 minutes out of Tamworth by car. We will have 4 places available in our vehicles for the media. If you wish to book one of these places please call Robin Gunning on 6766 2266 h or 6763 1128 w
