FROM THE EDITOR's WINDOW

Most NPA members will have been affected in some way by the bushfires last month — impacts range from tragic wildlife, habitat and property loss through to the possible cancellation of some bushwalking activities. Please check possible changes for the Activities Program — with over 100 walks there is sure to be an alternative venue.

The Journal features another natural and yet not-so-natural phenomenon, Salinity and the effects it has on biodiversity and vice versa...pages 5–7 and 14–15.

Members should also note the new options for membership — see 'Your NPA'.

Regards,
Rosemary Pryor
